1. All of the EMME channels now appear in the monitor point list for a LAN_802_3 model.
2. FDMIMs now appear in the proper slots in the Simplified Device panel of the Device Topology
view.
Problem 1: EMME firmware and flash EPROM versions earlier than 1.02.00 require a RARP
server such as a station running Remote LANview/Windows to answer the EMME’s
RARPs during booting.
Solution: Use Remote LANview/Windows to answer EMME RARPs, or update firmware and
flash PROM to version 1.02.00 or later.
Problem 2: There are no statistical reports for the EMME device model.
Solution: Reports can be run on application models. The EMME device model itself will have
reports in a future EMME Management Module release.
Problem 3: The Physical Device view does not show a BRIM inserted into a device. The view only
shows a space where a BRIM can be inserted.
Solution: This problem will be fixed in future release of SPECTRUM.
Problem 4: When you attempt to save created entries within the Static Bridging application’s
Static Bridging Table from the EMM-E6, the following error message may display:
Update failed for the following attributes:
Attribute 0x1194c - Attribute doesn’t exist on device,0x200000a
Solution: In order for the Static Bridging Table to work correctly, a MacAddr.receiveport entry
must be provided. Before pressing the button to create the static database entry,
confirm the MacAddr.receive value’s existence.
